This is a group that is open to all thought and images that define you thought of what a contemporary modern life is. If any one is interested in becoming a moderator to help me in being a moderator for the group which means that once a month he and I will post a quest on or thought to start a conversation. Moving On Up

So we are buliding a townhome in the suburbs and we have sold out on in-town living for the expense of the commute. But that doesnt make us non-modernists does it? No, we dont think so. We think you can have your cake and eat it too. We will live the modern lifestyle in a modern home, but not pay an arm and a leg to travel from downtown to work everyday. So this is the first leg of the journey, we havent ever bought a house before and we will see how the tension bulids up in our two year marriage. It can only make us stronger. The process has just begun and we have only been to two meetings and already this house thing has consumed us. First it was trying to get all the paperwork done and 500 signatures on one packet and then we had to go and pick everything out. Try going to a homebulider who specializes in making the suburbian dreams come true and creating a modern masterpiece...it was not easy. But we did find ways to create a modern look in our suburban neighborhood and we are excited to be able to share each week in pictures with you. We are going to create an art piece of the house as it is going up. Each week we will take a picture of the house from the same angle and watch it grow. We will aslo do the same thing on the inside once they get that part started. So come along for the journey, maybe we can make this living modern in the suburbs think catch on.
