Staged Miniatures - City Lights with San Francisco's Bay Bridge
Here's my first try at staging a miniature scene of city lights at dusk with the Bay Bridge in the background. Le Corbusier's Chaise Lounge is from Design interior Collection, Vol 4. I made the 4 white square tables. The picture looks better in the biggest size.
street art
This is generally not the type of photos that I would post on my Flickr stream, because I don't find it particularly aesthetically beautiful. Not that I don't like it of course. I posted it anyway cause I like the symmetry between the painter and her painting. And the face on the ground has such an expression that it feels like she's almost enjoying being painted...
Amenity Muir Bed
Amenity’s highly sought after Muir Bed is now available to us common folk! The bed, named after John Muir (the California naturalist and conservationist), is made from reclaimed Douglas Fir and finished with low VOC-water based stains.
Just beautiful.
Do think John Muir would have ever imagined that nearly 100 years after his death a bed would be named after him? Most likely not, but I’m sure if he saw it he would be incredibly honored.

DwellStudio Wall Art Collection
Post By: www.designpublic.com
Have you had enough of all the new DwellStudio items? I don’t think so! DwellStudio has gone from covering your bed to covering your walls with their recently released wall art. If I let my creative juices go I’ll shower you with different ways these pieces could be arranged. How about a diptych of Gio Giraffe in Aqua and Petal, or a triptych of Jacks in all three colors, or a polyptych of Dots in Aqua and Lemon, or maybe a combination of all twelve pieces! (as seen here). I could go on, but I’ll spare you.

Fatboy Headdemock
Post By: www.designpublic.com
Fatboy Headdemocks are back! Now that winter is nearly to an end (in most regions) Fatboy has brought out their coveted summer item: the Headdemock. Back in the day my dad would frequently inquire about when I was going to get him a Headdemock. For him, the idea of a leisurely day on a Fatboy Headdemock while drooling for or maybe eating a Fat Boy Ice Cream Sandwich (the two of which are not related but both utterly delicious) was too enticing of a notion for him not to get overly excited. I buckled and bought him the Fatboy Headdemock of his dreams. Next to come will be the ice cream sandwiches.

Amenity Cove Organic Cotton Duvet and Shams
Post By: www.designpublic.com
Some may say that the first day of spring was March 20, 2008, but I think the arrival of Amenity’s new 2008 bedding, pillow and print collections truly mark the official turn of the seasons. Take the Amenity Cove Organic Cotton duvet cover in cream and moss…can’t you just smell the scent of a freshly cut lawn and see flowers blooming on all the trees? This makes my mouth quench for a tall glass of lemonade as I listen to song birds out the window. Sensory overload, but I love it.

With nearly every cool baby product, I always wonder why they don’t have a grown up version?!...and Oeuf’s Two Tone and Quilted Baby Loungers made the list. Imagine buckling up, kicking back and bouncing to your heart's content on your adult sized baby lounger.
Lucky babies.

Boodalee Throw Pillows - Circus
Post By: www.designpublic.com/
I am all for elements in a home that have more than one look to them, like the new Boodalee Throw Pillows as an example. Why limit yourself to just one image when folks like designer Jeanice Skvaril give you the option to change it up? Some days you might be feeling squirrel-ish…other days you feel homely (i.e. a bird house). Some days you are all about popcorn…others you feel like an elephant. Just turn the pillow over and shazam! The change is made.
